Mechanical Engineer – site-based contract (min 6mths / immediate start)

£47 per hour (outside IR35) + travel time

Mechanical Engineer responsibilities include:

* Installation / piping & other Mechanical Engineering works, oversight, testing & inspections.

* Review QA/QC paperwork / technical report writing.

* Work on large, mega-scale live construction site.

* Ensure site productivity is in line with agreed schedule.

* Risk assessments / quality Plans associated with project.

* Liaise with QC inspection team to ensure that all work is progressed to the required quality standards.

Mechanical Engineer profile:

* An HND / Degree or similar level qualification in Mechanical Engineering

* Chartered Mech Engineer status beneficial

* Min 10yrs background in Mechanical Engineering including installation / piping Engineering, testing & inspections

* Min 5yrs experience in QA QC / Inspections

* Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer on complex Construction projects that may include Waste-Energy, Nuclear, O&G, Renewables, Airports etc

* Good communication skills and ability to write technical reports.

* Ability to work in a team, giving guidance and support and training as and when necessary

* Ideally to be residing within a commutable distance of Cheshire / Flintshire
