Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Our vibrant and inclusive primary school in Liverpool, L18, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Learning Delay (GLD).

The Role: You will provide tailored, 1:1 support to the child, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCO, you will implement intervention strategies and individualised plans to meet the child's specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the child in their learning and development, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment.

Foster the child's independence and confidence.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals.

Monitor and report progress, addressing challenges effectively.

About You:

Experience working with children with ASD and GLD is essential.

Patient, empathetic, and proactive with excellent communication skills.

A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable.

Able to adapt to the needs of the child and the classroom setting.
