Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Graduate Production Engineer for one of our clients based in the Swadlincote area. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving production issues, identify and implement strategies to enhance efficiency as well as reducing waste.

Graduate Production Engineer Responsibilities:

Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for production staff

Implement solutions to improve production flow

Ensure products meet quality standards and implement measures to maintain consistency and reliability

Reduce production costs while maintaining quality and efficiency

Carrying out maintenance checks and fixes on machinery

Graduate Production Engineer Details:

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 PA

Location: Swadlincote (DE11)

Hours: 08:00 – 16:00 (Must be flexible)

Graduate Production Engineer Requirements:

Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent qualification)

Proactive approach to processes and maintenance

Control system experience

Kaizen and Kanban system knowledge

Familiarity with POC

Flexibility to be reactive for maintenance faults and repairs
