Finance Assistant

The finance assistant will play a crucial part in the day to day running of the finance department. Supporting the department with maintaining accurate records and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:

* Processing invoices and credit notes

* Prioritising invoices into categories for efficient processing

* Reconciling customer and vendor accounts

* Processing approved purchase orders

* Check invoices from suppliers to ensure prices and items charged are correct

* Update reports for returns, invoices queries and credit chasing

* Responding to general queries from customers and vendors

* Update disputes/queried invoices on Sage to stall payment being processed

* Bank reconciliations

* Preparing payments and updating status of invoice once processed

* Administrative duties where required

Details:

* Permanent Contract

* 20 days’ annual leave per annum, rising 1 day per year, to a maximum of 25

* Opportunities for progression within company

* Normal Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00

Experience Required:

* Previous experience working in a Finance Assistant / Finance Admin role

* Detailed orientated with excellent numerical skills,

* A confident communicator and a natural problem solver with a dynamic approach

* Comfortable working in a fast paced, busy office environment

* Previous experience of working with Aeromark and Sage would be highly beneficial
