We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our client nursery team in Woolston. If you're passionate about nurturing young children's growth and development, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
· Promote the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
· Follow safeguarding procedures to maintain a secure environment
· Implement and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, addressing children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs
· Support children's learning and development through creative play
· Act as a key person to a small group, building positive relationships with children and their families
· Track children's developmental progress, ensuring they reach key milestones
· Design engaging activities that keep children active and involved throughout the day
· Prepare children for a smooth transition to school
Key Requirements:
· Experience in a pre-school or similar childcare setting
· Level 3 Diploma in Early Years
· Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
· Solid understanding of child development, current early years legislation, and children's needs
· Experience implementing the Early Years curriculum with an understanding of SEND, safeguarding, cultural diversity, and equal opportunities
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Caring, flexible, and adaptable approach
Eligibility
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
