Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Southampton

Start date: September 2024

Salary: £130-£200 a day

TeacherActive is proud and excited to be recruiting for English teachers to work within mainstream secondary schools based in and around the Southampton area. The schools provide a very high standard of education and have a ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rating. All schools provide modern facilities and been extended and upgraded within the last few years and are a pleasure to work at.

They are looking to take on very ambitious and driven English teachers to add to their already talented staffing team. You will be working across Key stage 3 / KS3 and Key stage 4 / KS4 including exam preparation for GCSE’s and improving general education. This fantastic role will be a major part in helping students not only improve but achieving excellent results. This role will also progress your career as an English Teacher.

The successful English Teacher will have:

QTS with English specialism (ECT’s are also welcome)
Experience teaching up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
Excellent and thorough classroom management
