A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a CMM Programmer to join an established quality department within a precision engineering company. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this role involves conducting 'first off,' batch, and final inspections of high-precision machined parts. You will play a critical part in ensuring all parts meet stringent quality standards. This role is essential in supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining quality assurance processes across the team.

Key Responsibilities

CMM programming to create a library of programmes for a wide range of parts and components.
Perform 'first off' and final inspections, utilising and programming CMM and manual precision measuring equipment.
Support continuous improvement efforts, helping to refine quality procedures and policies.
Ensure that all parts conform to specified drawing tolerances and standards.
Communicate effectively with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
Generate NCR reports and ensure calibration of all inspection equipment.
Requirements:

CMM Programming experience
GD&T knowledge of dimensions, tolerances and ability to read engineering drawings.
Ability to carry out Offline programming
Location: Accrington
Perm: competitive ££
Hours: 40 hours per week.
