We are looking for…

A BABY ROOM LEADER AND NURSERY PRACTITIONERS

with proven qualification and experience in the early years sector, in particular with the babies from 0 to 24 months

Key roles and responsibilities of the Baby Room Leader

 Lead of team of 5 practitioners

 Be a ‘key person’ to a small group of babies (from 3 to 24 months old) and build positive relationships with their families

 Monitor babies’ progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets

 Plan and create activities which keep babies engaged throughout the day

 Enable babies to become more independent

 Help prepare babies for the transition into ther Toddler Room (24 to 36 months)

 Protect and promote the health and well-being of all children

 Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed

 Promote positive relationships in the early years setting

 Develop good relationship with parents

 Show ability to report on their growth and progress

Key Requirements:

 Hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification of Level 3 (in Childcare, Early Childhood)

 Minimum 2 year’ experience of working in a Baby Room of a nursery/early years setting

 Good knowledge of the EYFS

 Willing to progress in terms of leadership within the company

Practical considerations on the Baby Room Leader Employment : Full-time

Number of working hours : 36 to 40 per week

Annual salary: between £22 and £29K depending on nb of hours and experience
