School Finance Officer/Bursar/Business Manager Required

Are you a School Finance Officer, Bursar or Business Manager looking to do some long term cover?

Do you have SIMS experience and available now? If yes, then this may be the role for you! A Primary school in Trafford, are looking for someone to support their school office starting ASAP and to cover long term sickness.

The successful applicant will have previous school experience, (including finance, attendance, record keeping etc), be proficient in SIMS, FMS and ideally have worked in a primary school setting.

The role will involve running the day to day administration and management of the school office.

Job Responsibilities:

Providing excellent financial and administrative services to the school
Maintaining accurate computerised records and systems for pupils and staff
Invoices, purchase orders, reconciliations, and school fund management
Be the first point of contact for students, parents and staff
Regular usage of school software packages including ParentPay, FMS and SIMS
We ask that you have:

SIMS / FMS experience gained from working in a school
The ability to work in close collaboration with other members of the school senior leadership team
Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, administrative skills including attention to detail, and people management skills
The ability to work with high levels of tact, confidentiality and discretion
