Store Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Retail Manager to join our business. As a Store Manager you will be coached, supported, and empowered to lead your team and run your store as if it were your own. We make no apology for wanting to be the best Independent Retailer in the country. We will never compromise on our shop standards thus ensuring that each and every-time our customers visits one of our sites they receive the full effect of our 'Retail is Detail' experience.
TYS is an independent business with a flat structure, so you will be reporting directly to the Area Manager, the business has been built from strength to strength and is looking to continue to innovate and expand, with new sites being planned for 2024/25.
Who are we looking for?
We need an enthusiastic, passionate, and driven individual who is results driven, can motivate, and empower a team and who its able to lead by example. You’ll understand how the success of your individual store fits into the wider business strategy and be able to analyse data to make commercial decisions to actively improve trade in your store.
What skills and experience do you need?
· Retail management experience is essential, ideally food retail.
· Someone who is a proven people leader with experience in leading and developing successful teams.
· Hard-working and flexible, with the ability to work both as part of the store team and on own initiative.
· Numerical proficiency, data analysis and Excel skill are essential.
· Committed to continually improving store performance and standards with an attention to detail and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.
· Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment and with a willingness to embrace new challenges.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
* Manage and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Analyze sales data and inventory levels to optimize merchandising strategies.
* Implement effective retail management practices to drive sales and profitability.
* Maintain clear communication with team members and upper management regarding store performance and challenges.
* Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis to inform decision-making.
