We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive School in Saltley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine love for working with children and helping them thrive in their formative years.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.

*

Encouraging the social, emotional, and academic development of children aged 0-5.

*

Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

*

Assisting with personal care tasks where required.

*

Observing and recording children’s progress.

About You:

*

Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

*

A relevant qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) is desirable.

*

Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach towards children.

*

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

*

An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
