PK Education is excited to announce an opening for a passionate and dedicated Reception SEND Teaching Assistant at a wonderful 1-form entry primary school in the heart of Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support 3-4 pupils in Reception with SEND, focusing on those with Autism, developmental, and language delays.

- Engage in General Teaching Assistant (GTA) duties, collaborating with another TA to ensure seamless support and coverage.

- Provide intimate care as required, ensuring the comfort and well-being of students.

- Maintain a positive and energetic approach, being able to respond quickly to the dynamic needs of the classroom.

- Use your initiative to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Ideal Candidate:

- Strong and resilient, with the ability to manage physical interactions and challenges.

- Energetic and proactive, able to move around the classroom and engage with students effectively.

- Compassionate and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.

- Experience in a similar role or setting is essential.

- Knowledge of SEND, particularly Autism.
