Our client, a significant player in the technology sector, is currently seeking a talented Java Application Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on the 'Glasgow_Bournemouth Delivery Unit' in a leading global financial services firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business processes and application requirements
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and managing the team to ensure top performance
Engaging with multiple teams to contribute to key decisions
Providing solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams
Developing innovative solutions to enhance application performance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve code quality
Implementing best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables

Job Requirements:

Expert proficiency in Java
Intermediate proficiency in AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
Advanced proficiency in Spring Boot
Understanding of CI/CD processes with intermediate proficiency
Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
