Role Overview:

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers within an Agile Scrum framework, supporting their growth and development.
Collaborate on establishing a modern DevOps environment, contributing to its development and improvement.
Foster a team culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, creating a conducive environment for success.
Develop high-quality software solutions using PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Slim, Laravel, Laminas, or other suitable options.
Promote the adoption of Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies using PHPUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.
Lead the design and implementation of a state-of-the-art platform using the latest tools and technologies.
Work closely with various teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HTTP and REST principles essential for creating scalable and sustainable RESTful APIs.
Utilise Docker for efficient containerisation and leverage AWS for cloud infrastructure, deployment, and management, ensuring smooth operations.Skills / Qualifications Required:

Extensive experience in Software Engineering with a strong focus on PHP within a B2B environment.
Proven experience in effectively leading and mentoring a team of software engineers in an Agile Scrum setting.
Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Slim, Laravel, Laminas, or others, along with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using PHPUnit.
Thorough understanding of HTTP and REST principles for API development.
Essential experience with PostgreSQL for data management.
