Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

We are a leading food manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality potato products for our customers. We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team and help us maintain and enhance our standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a QA team to ensure all products meet regulatory and company standards for safety, quality, and consistency.

* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA programs, including SOPs, HACCP plans, and food safety standards.

* Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, facilities, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., BRC, ISO, FSSC 22000).

* Oversee the handling of customer complaints, product recalls, and non-conformance investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions.

* Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and product development.

* Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance and food safety procedures.

* Monitor and report on key QA metrics, using data to drive decision-making and improvements.

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a Technical Management role within the food industry or FMCG

* Certified HACCP, TACCP and Food Safety training

* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and influencing skills

* Able to build relationships across sites and departments at all levels

* Customer facing technical experience
