As an Account Executive you will be responsible for key account management, building relationships with current and future customers and working closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to prepare quotes and secure new business.
Your responsibilities as an Account Executive:
* Establishing strong relationships with current and potential customers on the phone, in person and via email.
* Engage with customers to understand their requirements and collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to prepare accurate and competitive quotes.
* Manage customer interactions and sales activities through CRM software and ensure accurate data entry and tracking.
* Drive the sales process by following up on leads, negotiating terms, and closing deals to secure new work.
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring clear communication and timely responses to enquiries.
* Support the sales team in achieving KPI-driven performance targets and contribute to overall sales growth.
Your current experience which will help you as an Account Executive:
* Previous sales experience, preferably in a technical or engineering sales environment.
* Proficiency in the use of a CRM tool to manage customer relationships and enquiries.
* Strong understanding of KPI-driven performance metrics and the ability to meet or exceed targets.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines within a dynamic and busy environment.
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* A passion for learning and a desire to grow within a sales career.
What you can expect as an Account Executive:
* Up to £30k salary, dependent on experience.
* On-site in Northampton.
* Company pension.
* Holiday allowance: 25 days + bank holidays.
