Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner, for one of our clients based in Oldbury. As a Transport Planner, your role with revolve around helping manage our client’s fleet of vehicles, varying from vans to articulated lorries, delivering a variety of building materials to locations across the UK.

Transport Planner Responsibilities:

Provide support for inbound calls from drivers, sales, and other teams

Coordinate and plan efficient, safe, and compliant vehicle routes

Optimise vehicle scheduling for maximum efficiency and load capacity

Maintain and update transport records, including daily logs, movements, and reports

Ensure compliance with the Working Time Directive

Transport Planner Details:

Location: Oldbury

Salary: Up to £35,000 PA

Schedule: 09:00 AM - 18:00 PM

Transport Planner Requirements:

Prior experience in a Transport planning role or within the transport industry

Experience in manual planning

Good knowledge of UK geography
