This role requires strong civil engineering expertise, site management experience, and familiarity with NEC4 contracts. You'll manage early-stage works, design integration, and key stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Principal Contractor under CDM 2015 regulations, overseeing Temporary Works.
Assist the Project Manager with scheduling and planning.
Maintain strict health, safety, and environmental standards.
Manage risks, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Lead construction teams and subcontractors to meet project goals.
Oversee tender evaluations and control construction budgets.
Report progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
Support during commissioning phases and lead construction meetings.
About You:
Experience in EPC projects under NEC4 contracts, with a focus on civil/construction.
Utilities experience and ideally within Gas.
Proven track record in managing complex projects in the Oil & Gas industry under CDM 2015.
HND/C or higher in construction/civils.
Strong knowledge of Process Safety and formal assessments like HAZID/HAZOP.
Certifications: CSCS, SMSTS, SHEA Gas, Temporary Works Coordinator.
Desirable: SCO 91, APMP accreditation.
