This 3-19 school provides exceptional care and education for students with a wide range of learning needs, and we’re seeking someone to help make a real difference in their lives.

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to students with complex learning difficulties and additional needs. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where students can thrive. This role involves managing challenging behaviours and ensuring that each pupil has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Offering personalised support for individuals with ALN across various age groups (3-19).
Assisting with daily classroom activities and creating engaging learning opportunities.
Helping students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs by promoting positive behaviour strategies.
Providing personal care when required, including assistance with hygiene and mobility.
Supporting both 1:1 and small group learning to enable all students to succeed.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience working with individuals with ALN, especially those with challenging behaviours.
A calm, compassionate, and patient nature, with the ability to stay positive under pressure.
Comfort with providing personal care when necessary.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff alike.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children with a wide range of needs.
