Due to continued investment and company growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Welding Inspector/ Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing business in Sheffield on a permanent basis.

This role has been created due to continual growth and increase in orders and the need to expand the team to meet demands.

The successful candidate will be CSWIP 3.1 Qualified with a demonstrable background within Fabrication/ Welding of Medium/ heavy components, ideally with exposure to various industries including Nuclear, Power Generation and Defence.

*Please note: If you are not CSWIP 3.1 qualified, you will not be considered for this role!

Hours – Mon – Friday 7.30AM – 3.30PM

Package includes 25 days leave + stats + great pension contrubutions

Role Description

* Visual inspection of fabrications at various stages of completion.

* Dimensional inspections.

* Generate inspection reports.

* Identify and record non-conforming out puts and oversee resolutions as required.

* Ensure the inspection test plan is followed.

* Liaise with customer on site welding inspectors.

Qualifications/ Skills

* Ideally Time Served within a Welding / Fabrication environment

* Demonstrable experience in inspection of welded and fabricated components

* CSWIP 3.1 Qualified

* Confident using dimensional inspection measuring equipment (Mircometers/ Verniers/ Gauges)
