SEND Support Worker ✨

Locations: Walsall & Wolverhampton
Salary: £444-£454 per week
Start Date: Immediate starts available

ABC Teachers is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join a number of well-established Special Educational Needs (SEND) schools across Walsall and Wolverhampton in a Teaching Assistant role. We have a variety of upcoming roles, including some with immediate start date available.

About the Role:

Support young people in small nurture groups and one-on-one settings, assisting the class teacher in delivering a tailored curriculum. ‍
Work within a collaborative and supportive staff team, with excellent opportunities for professional development.
Flexible roles available – full-time and part-time positions, as well as short-term and long-term contracts starting from May 2025 and continuing ongoing.
About the School:

Welcoming and inclusive specialist SEND schools, with dedicated staff and leadership teams.
Supports children from Primary through to post-16 education, catering to a range of moderate to more profound and complex educational and physical needs. All students have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).

Provides a positive and nurturing work environment with strong leadership support.
About You:

Previous experience working with children or adults with SEND is essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. ️
Able to build quick and meaningful rapport with students and staff.
Passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact on their lives. ❤️
Must be able to provide suitable references and pass a DBS check.
