Our client is seeking a dedicated Construction Safety Advisor to join their dynamic team. This role will focus on providing support for Classroom Conversion Projects across various schools in the East Midlands, ensuring compliance with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with basic CDM experience to develop their career within a reputable consultancy known for delivering high-quality services across the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the implementation of CDM duties (excluding Principal Designer responsibilities) on classroom conversion projects.

* Conduct site visits and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.

* Provide guidance to project teams and contractors on CDM regulations and best practices.

* Support the Educational Trust by engaging with schools, ensuring construction activities adhere to safety standards.

* Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for construction activities.

* Identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks on-site.

* Facilitate pre-construction information gathering and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.

* Ensure proper documentation and records related to CDM compliance are maintained.

* Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and design teams to promote a positive health and safety culture.

Requirements:

* Basic experience in CDM duties within a construction environment (ideally 1-3 years).

* Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.

* Familiarity with educational or public-sector projects is advantageous.

* Ability to conduct site inspections and write clear, concise reports.

* Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with school staff, contractors, and project teams.

* Relevant health and safety qualification (NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent) is desirable.

* Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across the East Midlands.
