Chiller Service Engineer – Overview

We are currently working with an established Air Conditioning contractor who have been operating for over 40 years designing, installing, maintaining, and servicing air conditioning and chiller equipment throughout the South West, North West and Midlands of the UK. They employ over 45 mobile engineers and are looking for a Chiller Service Engineer to come onboard in the South West area covering service and maintenance works.

As a Chiller Service Engineer, you will be travelling to sites around the South West and M4 corridor area servicing small, medium and large chiller systems at commercial sites such as offices and RAF bases. You will have experience working on different types of compressors such as Scroll, Recip and Screw and experience of Tubocor compressors would be an advantage, though not essential. The position will be solely service and maintenance as there is a separate department that looks after installations.

They operate a call out rota, but this is only 1 in 8. The company also offers a quarterly bonus scheme based on company performance and access to the company lodge for 1 week a year at no cost! Due to this being a mobile role, a full UK licence is required.

Chiller Service Engineer – Requirements

* Experience servicing and maintaining air conditioning chiller systems.

* F Gas 2079 Cat 1

* Ability to work on centrifugal compressors (ideally Turbocor)

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Refrigeration, AHU, Air Conditioning experience (desirable but not essential)

Air Conditioning Chiller Service Engineer – Salary & Remuneration

* Salary £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

* Travel paid with 30 minutes each way unpaid

* Company Van + Fuel Card

* 1 in 8 call out rota

* Overtime Available 1.5x. 2x
