Electrical Site Manager required for our well-established client based out of the Blackburn area, who currently design, supply & install rooftop solar systems for the commercial and domestic sector. In this role you will be managing, overseeing and ensuring all Solar PV Systems are completed in time and on budget. This is a hands-on and working project manager role, so you would be required to complete installations with the Electricians on site. You will also be signing off electrical work using NICEIC / NAPIT systems and be the point of contact on site. As this is predominately a field-based role, you must be happy to travel and stay away when required.
Package:
* Up to £48,000 per annum
* A mix between office / site.
* 40 hours per week
* Monday -Friday
* 32 days holiday

* All expenses paid when a stay away is required including a meal allowance
Duties:
* Manage electricians, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Sign off Electrical work using NICEIC/NAPIT systems
* Install, configure, and connect solar panels, inverters, and electrical components according to design specifications
* Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connection of solar PV systems to existing electrical systems.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues related to solar panel systems.
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of installations, including documentation of equipment, materials used, and work performed.
Qualifications:
* Holds previous domestic electrical experience
* 18th Edition qualified
* SMSTS/SSSTS
* Holds renewable experience (either Air Source Heat Pump / Solar PV)
* Qualified to sign off electrical work through NICEIC / NAPIT.
* Full UK driving licence
