School details:
This well run SEMH school has just under 100 full time pupils who have a range of needs including behavioural and emotional needs. The school has children in attendance between the ages of 3 and 19 with many students having individual education plans in place. Most of the students have either one-to-one support or in some cases two TA's that support if their needs are severe. The school ensures all students get the individual support and attention they need to thrive and with that in mind they are looking to bring in several LSA's who they will support with training and development from day one so they can provide the best support possible for these deserving students.
Person requirements:
Either an experienced TA who has worked in SEN settings or a recent graduate with a passion for SEN education and a desire to gain practical experience.
Desire to work in a varied role, supporting multiple students and working alongside the schools SENCO
A TA who can commit to a long-term role across 5 days a week between 8.30am and 4pm
Ideally someone who is keen to learn and develop
