About the Role:
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the electrical systems within a landmark shopping centre. You'll take charge of the day-to-day delivery of both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring the highest standards are upheld. You'll lead a team of talented electricians, while overseeing key aspects such as managing subcontractors, handling RAMS, and issuing work permits. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead with Impact: Supervise and inspire a team of 4 electricians to ensure excellence in electrical maintenance across the shopping centre.
* Deliver Excellence: Oversee the smooth execution of PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring all electrical systems are running optimally and in compliance with regulations.
* Manage Subcontractors: Take control of subcontractor relationships, ensuring they meet the highest standards and adhere to project timelines.
* Drive Safety & Compliance: Prepare, review, and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring safety is a top priority.
* Work Permits & Documentation: Manage work permits and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and up to date.
* Problem Solving: Respond efficiently to any electrical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the shopping centre’s operations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experienced Supervisor: Previous experience managing a team of electricians in a commercial or facilities maintenance environment.
* Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical systems, health & safety compliance, and industry regulations.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team to achieve outstanding results.
* Organised & Detail-Oriented: Experience managing RAMS, work permits, and subcontractors, with excellent attention to detail.
* Qualifications: A valid 18th Edition Electrical qualification and relevant certifications are essential.
