Work with managers to bridge the communication between insurance teams, brokers and insurers.
Make sure insurers get the best possible service.
Be the go-to person for any insurance-related issues, helping strengthen relationships with insurers and setting up key meetings.
Help track and improve performance goals for the team, making sure they meet set standards.
Provide regular updates to management on goals, projects, and any issues with insurers.
Quickly send issues to the right teams to get them resolved.
Handle credit control requests from insurers and manage settlement responses.
Help the insurance teams with resolving questions on payments, reviewing performance with insurers, and making sure issues are tracked and resolved quickly.
Assist managers in handling escalated issues, identifying training needs, and giving constructive feedback to team members during regular meetings and annual reviews.Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Background in finance or insurance.
Previous experience in successfully managing a team.
Working knowledge of computer desktop software commonly used in insurance broking, including Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Power BI, Sector, and A4B.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to maintain positive and successful business relationships with colleagues, clients, insurers, and third-party providers.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with general and legal principles applicable to insurance, particularly FSA client money rules.Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Additional certifications or qualifications relevant to the insurance industry.
Experience in managing service delivery in a similar role.
