Key responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

- Develop customized consulting solutions to meet client needs, leveraging GlobalData’s extensive research and analytical capabilities.

- Ensure client satisfaction and long-term engagement through regular communication and by providing value-added insights.

- Proactively manage and nurture existing client relationships to maintain a high level of trust and client retention.

- Demonstrate proficiency in interacting with clients at all organizational levels, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Sales and Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors to drive revenue growth.

- Sell and be capable for delivering projects with the support of the consulting team that meet sales and net revenue targets.

-Prepare and present compelling proposals to prospective clients, showcasing GlobalData’s capabilities and tailored solutions.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for client acquisition and retention.

- Leverage existing client relationships and industry connections to generate leads and secure new projects.

- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Data Analysis and Insights:

- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to analyze healthcare and pharmaceutical data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

- Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve consulting methodologies and processes.

- Stay abreast for industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to ensure GlobalData remains at the forefront of market research and consulting.

Project Management:

- Lead multiple consulting assignments and internal projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Oversee project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations.

- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring clear communication and alignment with clients and internal stakeholders.

Strategic Development:

- Support the Global Leader in developing a long-term consulting strategy that aligns with broader company objectives.

- Leverage the skill sets f the consulting team and the assets of the company to create innovative solutions and new business opportunities.

Team Management and Development:

- Help manage and build the dedicated consulting team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

- Mentor and develop team members, supporting their professional growth and enhancing their leadership capabilities.

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages team members to share knowledge and expertise.

- Collaborate strongly with colleagues in various roles, including sales, research and analysis, and customer success.

Thought Leadership:

- Develop and disseminate thought leadership materials, including white papers, articles, and presentations, to position GlobalData as a leader in the healthcare data and analytics sector.

- Represent GlobalData at industry conferences, webinars, and other events to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.

Role requirements:

- Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and communicate solutions to our clients' business issues.

- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sectors obtained through either working in the industry or in a consultancy.

- Financial Acumen: Proven track record of achieving and surpassing financial targets is a plus.

- Management Experience: Extensive project management experience and experience managing a small team within a client support role. Demonstrable ability to manage projects to deadlines while maintaining quality.

- Client Management: Experience working closely with and managing internal and/or external clients, and in preparing and conducting presentations to Senior Management. Existing client relationships within the healthcare sector are highly desirable.

- Sales and Business Development: Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and achieve sales targets.

- Technical Skills: Strong skills related to market sizing, competitive analysis, benchmarking, primary research, storytelling, and other relevant analytic frameworks.

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
