Job Summary
Mayfield Alpacas at Ringinglow, Sheffield, S10 are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to excellence in hospitality. Ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the cafe's menu and standards.

* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and timely service.

* Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.

* Collaborate with management on menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.

* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.

* Implement cost control measures to optimise food production while minimising waste.

* Engage with guests to understand their preferences and provide exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation.

* A passion for cooking.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time & Part time positions available

Pay: £13.00 - £14.50 depending upon experience

Times of work – 7.30am – 3.30pm daily
