I'm currently working with a meat processing facility in Bedford, looking for an Engineer to join their small team due to expansion. The site is commutable from Milton Keynes, Biggleswade, Huntingdon, Northampton, Bedfordshire.
Main Responsibilities:
Looking for an Electrically biased engineer, the role is a mix of mechanical and electrical work
Have a couple of engineers who work in a few departments, some work in specific departments
Carrying out reactive breakdowns
Planned in maintenance - PPM schedule
Team is Engineering Manager, 3x Engineers, 2x Maintenance Assistants, 1x Administrator/ Purchaser
Fault finding and diagnosis
Liaising with production to ensure machine problems are fixed
To be considered for this position you will be a maintenance engineer who has experience within food or the manufacturing industry, ideally they are looking for someone to come with an apprenticeship in Engineering, Electrician qualifications or any Maintenance Engineering qualifications.
