Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Walsall

Salary: £28,000-£30,000

Job Type: Temporary (6 months)

Our client, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and experienced in managing financial transactions. With this being a 6 month contract our client is looking for a diligent individual to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices for accuracy and payment.
Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any payment issues.
Prepare electronic transfers, checks, and payment runs.
Record financial transactions in accounting software.
Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.Key Requirements:

At least 2 years of accounts payable or similar finance experience.
Relevant qualification in finance or accounting preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good communication skills for vendor and internal interactions.Benefits:
