Reservations and Spa Coordinator
C&N Recruitment are currently recruiting for a reservations and spa coordinator for a 4* Hotel based in Milton Keynes. The main purpose is to effectively coordinate all incoming bedroom enquiries and spa enquiries through all booking channels.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* To book all reservations including spa residential packages and ensuring special requests are recorded accurately.
* Completing daily arrival and reservation check reports, ensuring the accuracy of all bookings, ensure all routing is correct, all advance purchase bookings payments have been made, all booking notes are correct and that any further activity required that a To Do has been completed. On arrival checks ensure that there are no unnamed rooms on groups.
* Liaise with the Spa Team to book treatments and relate back to guests.
* To demonstrate exceptional hotel and product knowledge and use this to effectively upsell products to all incoming reservations.
* To effectively handle all incoming group bedroom enquiries within an 8-hour deadline. From initial enquiry, follow-up for conversion through to contracting and planning stages and providing thorough communication to the wider hotel departments by way of function / group information sheets.
* Conduct hotels show rounds for individuals and group reservations.
* To check no shows daily and ensure all bookings are charged for and update the no shows tracker and communicate to the team in the morning sales meeting.
* Communicate on a daily basis in regard to any changes that affect availability with conference and weddings teams in regard to any blocks in house
* Daily handle and respond to all telephone calls/enquiries and effective management of the reservation’s inbox
* Responsible for booking all guest dining into residuary with all fields filled our correctly
* Process any requests for gift vouchers

* Excellent relationship building skills
* 1 year’s reservations experience in the hospitality market.
* 40 hour working week, shift patterns, 8.30am-5pm, 9am-5.30pm and 10am to 6.30pm. You will be required to work Saturdays, usually 2-3 per month
