Job Specification: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Warrington Office

Main Contractor Specializing in Retail Fit-Out

Sector: Retail Fit-Out, Fast Track Environment

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Warrington office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of multiple fast-track retail fit-out projects. Our clients include high-profile blue chip retailers.

Key Responsibilities:
Estimating: In addition to traditional QS duties, you will be required to carry out some estimating tasks to support project tendering and cost management.
Cost Management: Accurately manage project costs from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
Tendering: Prepare and submit competitive tenders for new projects, ensuring all costs are accounted for.
Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met, particularly in the demanding and fast-paced retail environment.
Site Visits: Regular site visits will be required to oversee project progress, manage subcontractors, and ensure cost control measures are effectively implemented.
Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the retail fit-out sector.
Strong estimating skills with experience in tendering.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the retail sector, with a focus on fast-track fit-out projects.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost management and estimating.
