5D Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading engineering based in Lincolnshire.  They are market leaders in designing and manufacturing bespoke special purpose machinery who have quadrupled in size over the last five years. 

They have long lasting agreements with some of the biggest companies all over the world, who have committed to increasing their orders for the next three years.  Due to internal promotions and with an increasing number of deliveries and products being shipped we are looking to recruit a yard Operative to join their team.

Requirements

What the role will include:

·        Ensure the yard associated areas are kept In clean, safe and tidy condition.

·        Loading and unloading of vehicles as and when required, including acting as a banks man when needed.

·        Preparing machines and ancillaries for loading into containers, including wrapping and crating finished products.

·        Goods in – carrying out inspections of incoming materials and checking for, and reporting damages.  Making sure the correct paperwork is submitted to stores / purchasing.

·        Goods out – checking items for damages.

·        Prepare stock for storage.

·        Deliver items to the production team.

·        Ensuring the general upkeep of the yard and facility is to the required standards, which could include tasks like mowing the grass, hedge trimming, DIY tasks, leaf and litter clearance etc.
