An experienced Repair Technician is required to assess and repair specialist electrical and mechanical powered products, in Escrick near Selby and York. Sayjo Recruitment are recruiting for this permanent, full time position.

You will be experienced in technical repairs and ideally have knowledge of garden power equipment such as petrol and cordless lawnmowers, through to robotics for this dedicated after-sales service team.

Duties include:

* Perform all service repairs for electrical and mechanical elements of the products.

* Effective processing of all warranty repairs from receipt to dispatch.

* Identifying common faults and consistently applying relevant solutions to prevent product returns.

* Close communication with the customer helpline team and providing related information & support.

* Maintain a working knowledge of a diverse number of products and liaise closely with our product development team to enable continuous product improvement.

* Assist in all areas of the warehouse and spare parts department as required.

We are looking for:

* Proven technical knowledge and experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical powered products.

* The ability to learn to fix a wider range of products

* An understanding of cordless and electrical platforms would also be an advantage.

* A multi-talented, hands-on, hardworking individual to fulfil this important role.

* Technically minded and able to follow drawings.

* Excellent communicator on all levels with great problem - solving skills

* Computer skills including Word and Databases

This is a full time and permanent role offering 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday only.
