Our client based in Chandlers Ford are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join their growing team on an ongoing contract. With their nationwide coverage, state of the art equipment and recommendations from blue chip companies and local authorities, our client are a major contender in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will have a drive and the willingness to learn, develop and grow within the business.
The role of the Manufacturing Operative will include constructing the product on the shop floor, reporting to the production supervisor and working with materials such as sheet metal. Previous experience working with sheet metal or within a manufacturing environment would be preferred.
Duties of the role:
- Sheet Metal Assembly
- Operating within a manufacturing environment, constructing the product, whilst conforming to the standard operating procedures and policies
- Be flexible to work across multiple areas of the assembly process to support change in workflow and demands
- To assist with rework of piece parts or final assemblies as and when required ensuring quality standards are adhered to
- Ensure product is to the correct tolerances and meets customer and internal standards and specifications
Experience Required:
- Manufacturing Environment Experience Desired
- Previous Use of Hand/Power Tools
- Can work well in a team
- A good communicator
- Able to do Manual Handling/Heavy Lifting
