We are seeking mechanical design engineer positions to carry out analysis, design and project engineering work in the maritime renewable and clean technology sectors. The positions will be based in Higham ferrers offices and require mininum 3 years of experience.

· Mechanical Design using both CAD & CAE, assessing both safety and functionality of concepts, whilst aligning with the design brief;

· The ability to perform essential engineering calculations and be familiar with analysis software (FEA) in evaluating designs;

· Collaboration with project stakeholders to address design and functionality issues whilst developing effective solutions;

· Understanding of ‘Design for Manufacture’ using proven techniques and principles;

· Generating & maintenance of relevant business system data (BoMs) along with maintaining control of Engineering documents via appropriate ECN processes
