Senior Sous Chef - Busy Pub Restaurant - Somerset - £35K

We're on the hunt for an experienced chef to join the team at this busy pub restaurant at Senior Sous Chef level.

You will be required to work 5 days per week to include evenings and weekends, typical shift patterns will be split shifts (approximately 10hrs a day (10:00-3:00 then 4:30 - finish)) as the kitchen is closed 2:00pm -6:00pm.

The pub which has 6 letting rooms, offers an excellent venue for weddings and private events and has facilities for private functions. The pub currently offers classic and traditional pub restaurant food some with a modern twist from the core menu and a regularly changing specials board. The pub has a good following and an excellent level repeat business from local customers.

They operate with a small kitchen team of 2 chefs plus Kitchen porters, opening for food 7 days per week quiet days will see up to 40 covers at night and 20 covers for lunch while at weekends they will see 30-40 covers for Saturday lunch and 80-90 covers friday and saturday nights.

This is a great operation and a friendly working environment, closely led by the hands on management.

Great Salary up to £35K

2 regular days off per week.

Excellent tips paid daily
