Our client is looking for a Warehouse Quality Operative to join them on a temporary basis. (Could lead to permanent position for the right candidates)

Location – Shepshed

Pay Rate - £12ph

Working hours – 20/25 hours per week (Can be flexible on times)

Key Responsibilities

Receive and Process Stock: Unload, inspect, and record incoming deliveries, ensuring all products are accurately checked and stored.

Inventory Management: Assist in stock control and inventory checks, maintaining accurate records of all warehouse activities

Operate Warehouse Equipment: Warehouse tooling, adhering to health and safety standards.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet daily targets and ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations.

Weekly flatbed compliance report

Stock checking materials (PPI counts)

First aid kit compliance audit

Ladder compliance audit

MHE Pre-use check

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse role is essential.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in a compliant environment, with a strong focus on detail.
Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
Forklift Licence: A valid forklift licence (Flexi) is preferred. Conversion training could be provided for the right candidate.
Product assembly: Occasionally assist in the assembly or pre-assembly of products as required, following specific manufacturing instructions and quality standards.
Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Basic IT Skills: Comfortable using warehouse management systems and basic computer software. A tablet will be provided to perform IT related tasks
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others at all times. To report any issues to the Warehouse Manager
