Our client is the UK's leading landscape companies. Specialists in high-quality landscapes and activity areas for commercial and private clients. The Landscape Team Leader is responsible for leading on the day to day operational duties of a rapidly growing portfolio of clients for :
* Carrying out and supervising the work to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely manner and projects are completed on time and to budget.
* Carry out bi-monthly check-ins with the installation team members and support the Operations Manager on any annual appraisals.
* To support the admin team to order the correct plant and materials, at the right time and off hiring plant, fencing etc in a timely fashion at the end of the project.
* Oversee and assist with the installation of hard and soft landscaping and any associated works.
* Oversee all on-site health and safety and quality checks on all projects under their supervision.
* Ensure all sites are kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
* Supervise landscaping team members to ensure proper completion of tasks and all works carried out to the companies quality standards.
* Develop and maintain excellent customer service with current and potential clients.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by your line manager.
Key Experience & Qualifications Required
* A valid clean driver’s license is required.
* Extensive knowledge of hard and soft landscaping.
* A CSCS card is ideal
* Competency in operating small excavators, dumpers and powered hand tools is preferred.
* Ability to effectively communicate,‐ present information and respond to questions.
* Ability to organize, multi- task, plan and set priorities with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work independently and in team settings.
* Ability to exercise good judgment with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to help with production and scheduling.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels.
* Work conditions include, but are not limited to, inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, air contamination, extreme temperatures, intense noise and hazardous materials.
* Exposed to moving mechanical parts.
* Interaction with staff and clients.
* Regularly performing outside duties
