Class 1 Driver

£16.25 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading steel supplier based near to Warrington. They are searching for an experienced class 1 driver to start work immediately on a permanent basis.

Class 1 Driver Responsibilities:

* Transporting steel products & structures to businesses & sites across the UK in a safe & efficient manner

* Carrying out daily vehicle checks

* Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed to a suitable standard

* Complying with health & safety requirements at all times

Class 1 Driver Requirements:

* 2 years experience driving class 1 vehicles

* 2 years experience transporting steel

* Valid CPC & digi-tacho cards

* No DR, IN or TT related driving convictions

Class 1 Driver Benefits:

* A competitive hourly pay rate of £16.25

* An increased overtime rate applying to shifts that exceed 8 hours per day
