Humanities Teacher

£162.31 - £251.71 Per day
Job Duties:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities subjects
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assess and provide feedback on students' progress
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in a relevant Humanities subject
Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Humanities subject
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education
Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. The teacher may be required to participate in extracurricular activities and parent meetings outside regular school hours.
