Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum
About Our Client:
Our client is a reputable organisation with a strong presence in the cargo handling industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join their maintenance team. With a wide range of cargo handling equipment including FLT, Cranes, and Heavy Plant, our client requires an individual with a background in working on similar types of equipment.
Responsibilities:
Carry out Electrical Engineering Maintenance work on all Electrical Services, Systems, Plant, and Equipment (Planned and Breakdown).
Conduct Electrical Installation works in compliance with current regulations.
Assist with the loading/unloading of cargos, including operating plant & equipment.
Be flexible and available for shifts and weekend work as required.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a maintenance role.
Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and installation procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A full driving licence.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience working with cargo handling equipment (FLT, Cranes, Heavy Plant).
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering.
Technologies:
Proficiency in understanding and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools.
