Science Teacher – South Birmingham

Start date – September

Full Time position

Pay rates vary between £130 to £200 per day depending on experience.

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school based in South Birmingham. The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and prides itself on supporting students achieve their full potential.

The full-time role starts September and the school is looking to invite candidates to trial. The successful candidate would be working across KS3 & KS4 teaching Science. Your role is to follow and implement the relevant schemes of learning whilst working closely with the Head of Faculty.  

The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

Applicants need to have the following:

QTS
Experience teaching Science
Excellent classroom management
A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
Instructors are also encouraged to apply as well as educators working towards QTLS.
Early Career Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
