Caretaker - 5 month fixed term contract

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm + Saturdays 8am to 12pm

£12.21 per hour + holiday pay 12.07%

Working at a residential estate with a parade of shops attached in Hendon. You will be responsible for the care and upkeep of a residential estate that includes 42 apartments and a small square with local shops. Your duties will include preparing general and recycling bins for collection, collecting and disposing of rubbish from the estate and communal areas, and breaking down boxes from outside the shops for disposal. You'll also clean up after the council's refuse collection, maintain records of waste collection times, and report any missed collections. Additional responsibilities include sweeping and keeping the main courtyard clean, washing down stairwells weekly, conducting twice-daily patrols of the building and square, replacing bin liners, and assisting contractors and residents as needed.
