Salary: Up to £38k
Hours: 8:30am to 5pm (Mon to Fri) 8:30am to 12pm (Fridays)
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Near Uxbridge

Syntech Recruitment are looking for a qualified First Article Inspector to join an world leading aerospace client based near Uxbridge.

First Article Inspector Duties:

Regularly plan inspection to ensure product meets requirements with QPM.
Complete all inspection and FAIRs for high quality aerospace components.
Reviewing and ensuring all completed FAI meet the requirements of QAI-148 / AS9102, buy off the reports and archive them correctly.
Assisting the continuous improvement of effectiveness of the First Article Inspection processes to meet and/or exceed QAI-148 and AS9102
Supporting any other FAI Inspection activities as and when required.

First Article Inspector Profile:

Have a background working in manufacturing or engineering (Aerospace Background Desirable)
Have experience with inspection.
Confidently understand the application of the AS9102 First Article Inspection process.
Vast experience of reading technical drawings.
Good working knowledge of inspection tools.
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications)
