In this role, you will oversee a management team tasked with delivering a major commercial office development in Watford, valued at over £50 million. Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring construction activities are completed on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.

* Lead and manage site teams, including subcontractors, ensuring work is completed according to design specifications, regulations, and safety standards.

* Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.

* Monitor progress against project schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

* Manage the procurement and delivery of materials to the site, ensuring resources are available when needed.

* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, address any defects, and ensure all work meets the required standards.

* Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, site diaries, and progress reports, and report regularly to senior management on project status.

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience leading large-scale commercial projects exceeding £20 million as the primary site manager, with a consistent and stable career history within Tier 1 contractors.

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and health and safety regulations.

* Relevant qualifications including SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), First Aid certification, and an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or a related field.

* Exceptional leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
