Description
Key responsibilities:
Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
Assess, manage and mitigate risks in procurement processes.
Identify and source new suppliers and vendors.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Oversee supply chain functions.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Coordinate with stakeholder teams and departments regarding procurement needs.Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
Proven experience in procurement or a similar role, ideally within the FMCG Food & Drink industry.
Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement techniques.
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Team player and ability to work cross-functionally. Job Offer
On offer to the candidate:
Up to c.£60,000 (experience dependent) per annum plus package.
Hybrid working - 3 days per week on site in London office
