At Social Value Portal, we are pioneers in social value measurement and reporting. Since our inception in 2014, we have unlocked over £39bn in social value. As part of our expansion, we need a Social Value Manager to work with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) to enhance social value processes and support the council and its partners.

Why You'll Love This Role:

Location: Hybrid working with 2 days in the Rotherham Council office.

Manchester or London office – 1 day a month

Contract: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term with potential for extension.

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead social value initiatives within RMBC and the wider Rotherham community.

Manage a Social Value Officer, guiding them in driving social value processes.

Engage and inspire internal and external stakeholders to maximise social value.

Support procurement teams and manage social value reporting using the TOM System.

What You Bring:

A passion for social value and a proactive, self-starting attitude.

Strong data analysis skills and experience with Excel and CRM platforms.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.

Experience in project management, report writing, and stakeholder engagement.
