Health & Safety Manager – Property Maintenance
Location: Sale, Manchester
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hybrid Work Option: Available after probationary period
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Health & Safety risks in the design phases CDM Regulations 2015
* Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure all health and safety considerations are integrated into the project design.
* Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on mitigation strategies.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive health and safety documentation, including pre-construction information and health and safety files.
* Facilitate communication and coordination between project stakeholders to ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
* Lead design reviews and hazard workshops to identify and address potential risks.
* Monitor and audit project sites to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
* Provide training and support to project teams on CDM-related matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Professional membership with APS, IOSH, or similar.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Principal Designer role within the construction industry.
* Comprehensive understanding of CDM Regulations 2015.
* Proven track record of managing health and safety in a variety of project types, including commercial, housing, high-rise, heritage, and government buildings.
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide project teams.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
